• Onboarding preferences: your mother tongue, target language, national language, and topics of interest, used to personalize your learning path.
• Practice data: your speaking recordings and transcripts from speaking sessions with Neu, writing submissions, and the scores and feedback generated from them (speaking confidence, fluency, grammar, and pronunciation).
• Billing & tax details: the billing address and company or tax details you choose to add in Settings, used for invoicing paid plans.
• Technical data: device and browser information, IP address, and cookies used to keep you signed in and to understand how the Service is used.

How We Use Your Information

• To deliver speaking conversations with Neu, writing feedback, and your progress dashboard.
• To personalize onboarding, lessons, and practice topics based on your preferences.
• To process payments, generate invoices, and calculate applicable taxes for paid plans.
• To administer the referral program, including tracking referrals and issuing rewards.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including improving the accuracy of our AI feedback.

AI Processing & Third-Party Providers

We may use trusted third-party speech-recognition and AI providers to process your recordings and writing submissions in order to generate feedback and scores. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform that processing and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your account and practice data for as long as your account is active, so you can track your progress over time. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep certain records (such as billing records) for legal or accounting purposes.

Your Rights

You can review and update most of your information directly from Settings. You may also contact us to request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account. You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails.
